Mr. António Pereira is the founder of Arlito, a high quality footwear manufacturing factory. Arlitó was created in 1980 as a family business and still remains so to this date.
Our outmost aim is to provide our customers with the highest grade of quality in footwear manufacturing, sharp delivery timings and flexible re-order leadtimes.
We manufacturing constructions, such as Board lasted, St. Crispinos, machine and hand-stitch, Corner-stitch, Stitch-down, Black Rapid, Strobel, California, Bologna, Mocassin, Glove and Less Goodyear Welted, with a state of the art production line being built at present at our premises.

We are reputated to be one of fastest reacting sampling structures on the industry, thanks to a dedicated and very experienced team of professionals and computer equipment. The speed of development from sketch and the quality of our samples is only matched by the mirroring quality of bulk production orders.
Our Export department entertains privileged relationships with the best tanneries in Europe, including Italy, where we are currently sourcing the best materials for our top end customers.

Our History
Founded in 1980 by Antonio Ferreira this company is currently a manifest reference in the footwear industry, either nationally or internationally.
The company starts its business with a team of seven employees, today employing 160 workers as a result of its gradual and sustained growth.
The first orders – sports footwear models and moccasins – are intended exclusively for the home market. In 1984, just four years after starting labouring, Arlitó bets on an export strategy with the first businesses on the French market.
The partnership with the brand Kickers, from Pentland Group in 1994, determines the entry in the English market, being Arlitó responsible for producing over 90% of the brand development in Portugal.
The export strategy proceeds in the North American market, where the company conveys, between 2000 and 2005, the daily production of thousand pairs of Water Proof models to Rockport.
Also relevant in this decade is the beginning of the manufacturing of Camel Active – Gabor models which, since 2005 until the present day, represent a production of 150 thousand pairs per year.
Arlitó, from 2008 on, sets out to gain the luxury segment, establishing partnership with brands like Kenzo, Costume National and Pal Zileri.
This commitment and the luxury brands that comprise the portfolio of Arlitó are a clear evidence of the excellence of its know-how in production and its ability to respond to all types of shoe manufacturing. Recognized for its flexibility in introducing new developments at short notice, Arlitó is a reference of quality and innovation in the industry.
